Route of the Week - Pevensey Bay (2) 

This clockwise journey to Pevensey Bay feels very different to being driven in the opposite direction and is occasionally used by our local Eastbourne Driving Test Centre examiners. Keeping an eye on the changing speed limits is a must on this route! From time to time, the examiners can adopt some variation in the final part of the route.

Route Length - Approx 10 miles

Time - 30-40 minutes

• Start Point - Eastbourne Driving Test Centre - Wartling Road
• Turn right out of car park onto Wartling Road
• At the end of the road turn right
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit left onto Princes Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit left onto Langney Rise
• Take the 1st road on the left onto Sevenoaks Road
• Take the 4th road right onto Pembury Road
• At the end of the road turn left onto Langney Rise
• Take the 3rd road right onto The Rising
• At the end of the road turn left onto Priory Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead onto Pennine Way
• Take the 3rd road left onto Mendip Avenue
• At the end of the road turn left onto Pennine Way
• At the end of the road turn right onto Friday Street
• Follow the road ahead onto Lion Hill
• At the traffic lights turn right onto Rattle Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead onto Rattle Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead onto High Street
• Follow the road ahead onto Castle Road/High Street
• At the traffic lights turn right onto Wallsend Road
• At the traffic lights follow the road ahead onto Eastbourne Road
• Follow the road ahead onto Pevensey Bay Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead onto Pevensey Bay Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead onto Pevensey Bay Road
• At the roundabout take the 2nd exit following the road ahead onto St Anthony's Avenue
• At the roundabout take the 1st exit left onto Lottbridge Drove
• At the roundabout take the 5th exit right and then take the 1st turn on the left onto Wartling Road
